~ Description ~
~ Zhouliao ~ LI 12
Location: When the elbow is bent, on the lateral aspect of arm, anterior to the humerus, 1 cun superior (and lateral) to LI 11.
Tips & References: When the arm is straight, LI 12 is 2 cun proximal to LI 11.
* Search for a deep depression that can be felt when moving proximally
from the lateral epicondyle toward the humerus anterior border.
Note:

~ Shouwuli ~ LI 13
Location: On the line connecting LI 11 with LI 15, 3 cun proximal to LI 11.
Tips & References: Anterior to hard tissue.
Note:

~ Binao ~ LI 14
Location: In the depression, anterior to the deltoid, about 0.5 cun superior (and anterior) to the (conspicuous) deltoid lower edge.
Tips & References: On the line connecting LI 11 with LI 15.
* In the gap, formed between the deltoid and the brachialis muscles.
* Easier to identify the anatomical structure when lifting the arm laterally (abduction) against resistance.
* About 7 cun proximal to LI 11.
* About 2/5 of the distance between LI 15 to LI 11.
* Anterior to the humerus.
Basic Feature: Many sources indicate interaction with SI, UB, and some indicate also interaction with Yangwei (Ya-L).
Note:

~ Jianyu ~ LI 15
Location: In the depression, about 0.3 cun inferior to the acromion anterior corner.
Tips & References: Search for the second small depression that can be felt when moving distally from the acromion corner.
* When the arm is horizontal (abduction) and loose, two curved depressions appear on the shoulder. The point is in the anterior one, beneath the bone.
Basic Feature: Interaction with Yangqiao (Ya-H) and some sources indicate also interaction with SI and GB.
Note:

~ Jugu ~ LI 16
Location: In the depression, between the clavicle lateral end and the scapular spine.
Tips & References: Medial and posterior to the acromioclavicular joint.
* On the trapezius muscle.
* Search for the deep depression that can be felt when moving medially
* from the acromion toward the neck.
Basic Feature: Interaction with Yangqiao (Ya-H).
